The modern Legacy

The modern woman is expected to be a tough cookie especially now than ever no matter what the  circumstances are. From a celebrity marriage drama that played out  recently on social media, my views on the tough modern woman was challenged and it left me wondering, has social media taken over every area of our lives already? are the solutions to our most personal issues found on social media? if your spouse or partner came venting their frustrations of the relationship on social media, do you use the same social media to respond ?  What really makes a man or woman tough in todays society? hiding behind the comfort or a smart phone and screaming your issues to the world or rather talking to each other like we did before social Media? Is keeping silent and not responding to every thing thrown at you on social media a sign or weakness or maybe strength? In a world were everyone seem to have an opinion about another persons life especially the part that is thrown out on social media, I ll choose to believe that privacy and dealing with whatever issues you are facing in private and with the people that truly matter is strength and it is commendable. It doesn’t make you less human as some people choose to believe, it doesn’t make you fake either as some argue, it just makes you one of those people that truly understand that your issues are best dealt with in private and with the people that truly matter and most importantly God.  Solutions to our problems are never found in chaos, and how some people even try to applaud the use of social media as a means of pouring our hearts out in the deepest of our sorrows  as a sign of being real, human and strong baffles me. I can’t speak for everyone though, and your views on this to shed more light on a trend that is truly on the rise will be very appreciated.

While I digress, Im pairing an unexpected combo for todays outfit post. Yes, a maxi and flared denim, unexpected I know for someone who likes to play it safe like I do, expect the unexpected out here lol, I’m unleashing my inner heroine , Love the look? well let me hear your thoughts . Have a blessed week guys and catch ya laters..

Harrie dear. Thanks for the beautiful write up.As for you look…hmmmmmmm girl! you know you always get it right! Yea, it’s quite daring. It would truly scare me trying how that would look on me but, u pulled it out really good!!!. You are so right about us keeping our personal life’s issues away from social media. Truth is, most people’s social media personality is not who they really are! It is ideal to live our lives off of social media especially when it came to our personal issues. With the late happening of emotional veting out of very private issues on social media, my whole point is that, someone should not be criticised for venting out on social media because she is a “star”. For the fact that it’s private marital issues which should be kept in the home or family where it should be rightfully kept; yes! But if it’s all about her loosing her stardom n not understanding how the game should go, there I disagree completely bc stars are humans like us and they bleed just as we do. As for the content of what was shared out, I don’t want to judge why anyone would vent out somuch privacy in public bc honestly, I thinks they are reasonable enough to know that family issues should stay where they belong; that is at home! But if they bring it out in public, then they should probably have a very good reason! And I know for a fact that dealing with emotional issues is very slippery and different people turn to deal with them differently based on thier different levels of strength and understanding of what life should be… I don’t want to be thier judge even though I’m a magistrate I refuse to be a judge over anything like this for two reasons: first bc I know it’s so slippery and so I can’t really tell from my position of an outsider why she decided to share out that much, until I know the raison d’etre for her vent, I reserve my comments; second because I am a woman and I honestly don’t know exactly what my reaction would be if I wore her shoes and felt the pain she felt through all of saga she spoke about… but trust me sisi… I know it would not be good at all!!!

I love this post! From the topic to the outfit! Somethings are left to be discussed face to face and not behind a phone. But that is just my opinion. Have a great weekend!
