Hello everyone, how have you all been? I’m hoping life has been good to you and your family. The last few days have been incredibly difficult for me and my family, as we were all shocked by the sudden passing of our dear aunt, daughter, sister and friend. Oh my, just typing this brings tears to my eyes. If you have ever felt the pain and misery of loss or losing someone you love, then you imagine what we are going through. Life is so not predictable, one minute someone is here, making plans and being happy, and the next minute, they are gone.
I remember asking my husband where do people go to when they die? do they see us, feel the pain in the hearts of the loved ones they left behind? see the sorrows? the vacuum they left and are they in a much better place? while he didn’t have the answers to the questions I asked, his response was consoling and full of hope. He answered, if you believe there is a God and in the after life, then I guess its safe to assume that when someone dies, their purpose on this hateful earth must have been fulfilled and they are on to the next, a place where there is no sorrow only Love, Peace and Joy.
I have lost friends and loved ones along the way, some of them I had not spoken to frequently like I should have, it really hurts when that phone rings and it is yet another news of someone you love that passed, and what makes you hurt even more is the fact that they may have died without knowing how much you love them. Thats so much of a guilt to live with.
Well… without trying to turn this into a long sunday sermon, I just want to say, always remember to give Love to others, that might be the last time you ll ever see or talk to someone, and your last recollection of any encounter with someone should be the Love you gave them, should anything ever happen, not necessarily death, you ll be glad you choose and gave LOVE..
To all who have lost someone they love, God is on your side, he sees your pain and he will eventually give you the strength to heal and carry on.. And to those we have lost, we love you, sleep well and Rest in the Lord.
Enjoy the new week guys and remember to check back in a few hours for our weekly outfit post.
