turtle neck + Sneakers…Lost in thoughts

Hello guys, sorry for the hiatus, as mentioned earlier, my lack of post has really not been by choice, (as a matter of fact, I have so many things lined up of the holidays) but by the turn out of events in my private life. As some of you must have read here on the blog, I lost my mother inlaw to cancer exactly a week today. It has been a difficult experience watching someone you love and care for fading daily right before your eyes and there is really nothing you can do about it than just holding their hands, praying for them and reminding them of your love. Life is truly unfair sometimes, especially when kind loving people leave us in such manner. While we find ways to cope with this loss by praying for her gentle soul to Rest in the bossom of the Lord,  I can’t help but wonder what our purpose here on earth is;

What are we here for? are we living out our full potential? If we were to die today, would we say It Is Finished? or We are finished? would you go happy or would you go with regrets? Looking at life as it is, all the great inventions we enjoy today are as a result of brilliant minds that lived before us;  it got me thinking, its only natural that we too leave something behind that we will be remembered for by the generations that come after us. It is never too small, start today, there must be something in each and everyone of us that we would like to change for the better, make that change, take that course , job, work towards that goal, it might be fitness or something else, do your own thing and contribute to the universe, make the world a better place by starting with you. I promise myself, I will do only that which brings me joy, starting now, I will live a purposeful life, for me, my loved ones and for mankind. That will be the only way I can enjoy this beautiful life I have been  blessed with by living it with Purpose.

On a lighter note, Im donning a casual look for the blog today.. Can you believe it is actually getting cold out here in California? finally .. I can rock some chunky sweaters without looking like i fell off from space lol.. Im currently obsessed with Adidas sneakers, they re super comfy and chic too. I love the super Star which I’m wearing on here and the Stan Smith which will be making a debut out here soon. You won’t believe how hard to find these are, been stalking these  for like ever until finally here they are..Love the look? let me know.. Look out guys for more fun holiday gift guide on here..
