Hello Lovelies, I will be talking lipstick today, while I am mostly a lipgloss kinda girl,there is definitely something about a bold lip that makes women feel and look very sexy and confident. I have been experimenting with bold lipsticks lately and here are some tips to get it right…and yes wearing Lipstick is an art…
1.One of the most important aspects of getting it right is finding a shade that matches your undertones. We are different shades of black and have different undertones too..Those with golden or olive skin tones will look perfect in orangey red lipsticks and warmer pinks while ladies with cooler skin tones should stick to true reds with blue tones.
2. Exfoliate. It is an important step to carry out when wearing lipstick. This process eliminates dead skin from the lips thus leaving a fresh surface for easy and smooth application.
3. Moisturize. Its important to moisturize your lips before applying lipstick for long lasting and beautiful results. Dry lips ruin even the most beautiful lipstick ,so it is best to apply a moisturizing lip balm of your choice a few minutes before applying your lipstick.
4. Define your lips. Use a lip pencil close to the color of your lipstick to define and fill (optional) your lips. This stops your lipstick from bleeding and your lipstick would look better and stays on longer too.
5. Conceal. Use a concealer around the mouth to clean and brighten up the area. This leaves your makeup looking flawless.
6. Pearly Whites. There is nothing sexier than a bold lip and a bright smile. Ladies a trip to the dentist every now and then wont hurt,or better still a good whitening toothpaste can still get you good results. Ladies give the BOLD lip a try and be amazed..
