Happy Monday.. In the Basics.

In the basics,.. Im officially calling this new week my chill week before the holiday hustle and bustle begins.  If you are from Cameroon or other countries in Africa with similar culture  e.g. Nigeria, Ghana etc, then you know what this time of the year means to us. Weddings, funerals, parties and much more.. Its like the celebrations never stop. I kid you not, most times I step out the plane straight to an event, yes they get that serious. Its only a few days before I am back home in Cameroon, and what I plan to do with myself and time before then, chill, relax, read a good book, eat healthy, sleep, have my Me time and everything in-between,.. before the insanity which is December in Cameroon begins. I know I know, Im not complaining, no Im not, I do admire the way other cultures celebrate the holiday season, but I wouldn’t trade mine for anything in the world, underneath the craziness of sleepless nights and never ending celebrations, is love and happiness you see on the faces of friends, families and loved ones and believe me, that makes everything worth it..
